Can’t be used to pay a deposit or up front payment however can be used to pay the full amount. It’s worth leaving a small amount still on credit card for more consumer protection.

Finally we have AirBnb! The only uncomfortable moment ia that cards are fixed 50-100-200 and u have to do it multiple times every time.

AirBNB giftcards are handy but the increments are too small (max 200). This requires purchasing and entering a number of them which makes usage time consuming if I need to pay for more than a couple of nights. And, now, with no rewards, there is nothing to offset the cumbersome experience.

I dislike the fact I had to go to multiple websites to get the gift card code I paid for, BiRefill is usually far easier to use.
